About “Loving”

Loving tells the story of a lady who is ready to explore with her man but she makes him understand that can only happen after he’s been to her people.  I hail from the West Region of Cameroon, my village is Bafou in Dschang precisely and we respect our culture. One of them is a family should give out their daughter after the normal traditional rights are done to completion.

This involves the “Knock Door” and pride-price/traditional wedding etc and some requests vary depending on the family. Over the years, this has proven to create/maintain respect for the lady when he is at her in-laws place. The man’s family is respected and well appreciated for respecting the lady and her family too by going to them first and fulfilling their demands before doing whatever he chooses to do with their daughter.
